2013-2014 Fiscal Year

The Governor's Budget includes $1,026,815,000 for the 2013-2014 Special Education appropriation.

For the Special Education Funding component, school districts will receive approximately $942,450,000.

2013-2014 Proposed Special Education Funding (Excel)

The proposed 2013-2014 Special Education appropriation also includes funding for the following components:

Special Education Contingency Fund allocation at 2 percent of the appropriation, approximately $20,525,000
Core Services funding to intermediate units at 5 percent of the appropriation, approximately $51,312,600
- 2013-2014 Proposed Intermediate Unit Core allocations (Excel)
Institutionalized Children's Program funding to intermediate units, $9,000,000
