Beartown Rocks

Explore a maze of massive sandstone boulders at Beartown Rocks.

The Beartown Rocks Overlook provides an excellent view of the Allegheny Plateau. The overlook is accessible from the Beartown Rocks parking lot off Corbett Road.

Beartown Rocks can also be viewed from Beartown Rocks Trail or Rocky Trail.

Laurel Fields

Laurel Fields was once a pioneer homestead settled by the Tillotson family. Today, the area includes a meadow and a road that winds through a mature grove of mountain laurel.

Dennison Point Overlook (Kennerdell Tract)

Dennison Point Overlook provides an impressive view of the Allegheny River for those willing to hike approximately two miles on the easy to moderate Kennerdell and Overlook trails.

Bullion Run Iron Furnace

The Bullion Run Iron Furnace is a charcoal-fueled furnace that operated in the mid-1800s. It is located at the end of Iron Furnace Trail, a 1.5-mile hike from the Dewoody Road parking lot.

Oil Pumping Station

The Oil Pumping Station was used in the early 1900s oil boom and is viewable from Fishermans Cove Trail.
