Park trails are open for cross-country skiing. The eight miles of park trails connect with many more miles of trails in the adjoining Susquehannock State Forest, including the 29-mile Denton Hill Cross-country Ski Trail System, which is groomed.

Denton Hill State Park is closed for downhill skiing.

DCNR has recently completed a feasibility study that provides a comprehensive evaluation of the facility looking at downhill skiing and other year-round activities at the park. Explore the master plan for Denton Hill.

Designated sledding areas are available at the base of the hill near the Adventure Center.
