Sinnemahoning State Park Campground Map (PDF)
♿ Tall evergreen trees shade the campers in the campground at Sinnemahoning State Park. The 35-site campground is one mile south of the Park Office and Wildlife Center along PA 872. The campground opens in mid-April and closes in mid-December.
The camping area has a sanitary dump station and modern restroom with flush toilets and showers.
Campsites accommodate camping equipment from tents to large recreational vehicles and motor homes. All sites are equipped with a:
- Picnic table
- Lantern hook
- Campfire ring
Pets are permitted on designated sites.
The restroom and some campsites are ADA accessible.
Campsites can be reserved up to 11 months in advance and up to noon on the day of arrival.
Interpretive programs are offered throughout the summer season at the centrally-located campground amphitheater.
Free Camping for Campground Hosts
One host position in the modern campground
The campground host site has amenities, including 50-amp electric service. The host is required to work 40 hours per week, with a two-week minimum stay. The host will be required to assist park personnel with:
- Performing daily campground duties
- Providing information to the public
- Assisting with the pet camping program

Brooks Run Cabin

The modern cabin is nestled in a hemlock grove along Brooks Run stream at the southern end of the park. The four-bedroom modern cabin has accommodations for 12 people and includes an updated, fully-outfitted kitchen, and a living room with a stone fireplace. Linens, washcloths, towels, cleaning supplies, and food are not supplied.
A secluded patio and campfire area provides convenient space for outdoor cooking and entertaining.
This popular cabin can be reserved up to 11 months in advance and must be reserved at least two days in advance. It is available by the week during the summer season and for a minimum of two days for off-season reservations.
Alcoholic beverages are permitted in this overnight facility and associated curtilage only. Alcohol possession and consumption is restricted to the holder of the reservation permit and invited guests age 21 and older. Responsible and legal alcohol consumption is required, and violations are grounds for removal from the state park without refund.
Note that alcohol possession and consumption in all other overnight facilities and all other areas of state parks is prohibited.
Firewood
Firewood is available from several vendors in the area. Invasive insect pests are known to be transported in lumber and firewood. To prevent the spread of these pests, please do not move firewood to, or from, other areas.
