This section also maintains an inspection program to verify the certified testers and mitigators are following the regulations and protocols for radon testing and installing radon mitigation systems.
The Radon Monitoring Section maintains an E-perm System and a variety of continuous monitors for both radon testing and radon progeny testing. This equipment is used for diagnostics of problem mitigated homes, verifying homes with extremely high radon levels and maintaining the division's remedial program.
