New Home Owners
Energy Star
Are you interested in being a new home owner that stands above the rest? The ENERGY STAR Certified Home is designed and built to high standards that require all energy systems and features work together more efficiently to deliver better performance. ENERGY STAR labeled homes use 15-30 percent less energy than typical new homes, and use even less energy compared to most resale homes on the market today.
ENERGY STAR Certified Homes and Apartments: Better is Better
A new home that has earned the ENERGY STAR label was designed and built to standards well above most other homes on the market today, and has undergone a process of inspections, testing, and verification to meet strict requirements set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). ENERGY STAR certified homes are at least 10% more energy efficient than homes built to code and achieve a 20% improvement on average, while providing homeowners with better quality, performance, and comfort.

Home Energy Score
Are you interested in buying a home? Selling your home? The Home Energy Scores for homes are increasingly being included in the real estate market. The Home Energy Score program builds market value for home energy efficiency for single family and townhomes. This assessment is like knowing your miles-per-gallon in your car or the car you are thinking about buying. Even if you are not buying or selling a home, through an in-home assessment, you will learn how efficient your home is compared to others and will be provided with cost-effective recommendations to improve your home's energy efficiency.
