About the Program and Curriculum

The Keystone State ChalleNGe Academy (KSCA) provides a structured environment that helps teenagers overcome challenges. The program helps them focus on their academic progress, emotional well-being, and physical fitness. Our voluntary, coeducational program offers cadets a 22-week experience designed to set them on a clear path to success as they transition into adulthood.

KSCA is a joint effort between the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs and the National Guard Bureau, in consultation with the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
