It's On Us PA is a statewide campaign that invites everyone to play a role in ending sexual assault. Building off the momentum of the national It's On Us movement, It's On Us PA brings together college and university presidents, superintendents, administrators, teachers, students, families, and community members to reframe the conversation around sexual violence and pledge to be part of the solution.

Take the Pledge

Take the It's On Us PA pledge to help keep people safe from sexual assault. This personal commitment is a promise to be a part of the solution to the problem - not a bystander. It's On Us to:

  • recognize that non-consensual sex is sexual assault.
  • identify situations in which sexual assault may occur.
  • intervene in situations where consent has not or cannot be given.
  • create an environment in which sexual assault is unacceptable and survivors are supported.

Grants

The It's On Us PA campaign is based on a core belief that sexual violence shouldn't be part of any student's education. Supported by Governor Josh Shapiro and education leaders across the commonwealth, including school superintendents and college presidents, It's On Us PA is a statewide campaign that invites education leaders and all Pennsylvanians to be part of the solution to protect students from sexual violence.

Since 2016, 301 It's On Us PA Grants totaling nearly $8.7 million to 100 post-secondary institutions across the state - including public and private two-year and four-year colleges and universities. The institutions use grant funds to implement strategies on their campuses to address the goals of Governor Shapiro's It's On Us PA campaign.
