Temporary Nighttime Lane Restrictions Planned on Interstate 90

In order to complete nighttime work in connection with the project to replace the bridge carrying Jordan Road (Route 4108) over Interstate 90 in Harborcreek Township, Erie County, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is planning temporary lane restrictions on I-90 starting next week.

Beginning on Monday, March 24, 2025, motorists may encounter lane restrictions on I-90 between Exit 29 (Route 8, Hammett/Parade Street) and Exit 32 (Route 430/290, Wesleyville/Bayfront Connector).

Work will take place between the hours of 8:00 PM and 8:00 AM on Sundays through Fridays, and will include installation of traffic control signage, setting of temporary barriers, and the demolition of the existing bridge.

Motorists should remain alert for changing traffic patterns and expect delays.

The contractor is Francis J Palo Inc. Clarion, PA. The contract cost is $5,157,026, which is to be paid entirely with federal funds.

Information on the Jordan Road Bridge Project is available online at www.penndot.pa.gov/District1 under the Projects Near You and the District 1 link.

PennDOT urges motorists to slow down when driving in work zones, and also to be alert to changing conditions, avoid distractions and to pay attention to signs and flaggers. Drive responsibly in work zones for your safety and the safety of the workers.
