Secondary Road Maintenance Project Begins April 21 in Armstrong County

Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 10 is alerting motorists to upcoming secondary road maintenance in Kiskiminetas Township and Apollo Borough in Armstrong County.

The contractor will be starting to mill and patch Routes 156, 2050 (Jackson Road), 2046 (Old State Road) and 2048 (Cherry Lane Road/Kiski Avenue) on April 21.  Lane restrictions with flaggers will be implemented.

Additional state routes will include:

  • 3.45 miles of Route 2052 – Sugar Hollow Road
  • 2.07 miles of Route 2053 – Garver’s Ferry Road
  • 0.49 miles of Route 2055 – Gravel Bar Road
  • 3.12 miles of Route 2057 – Airport Road
  • 4.05 miles of Route 2059 – Hungry Hollow Road

Additional information will proceed the start of each project to alert motorists to any potential traffic delays.

Derry Construction Co., Inc., of Latrobe is completing this $8.1 million project anticipated to be complete in early November.
