Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and Bridging Pennsylvania Constructors (BPC) are providing an update on the closure of Richardsville Road (Route 4005) in Brookville. The Richardsville Road (Route 4005) closure is anticipated to begin on January 13, 2025, and it will remain closed until March 6, 2028.
The closure is necessary to allow for the removal and reconstruction of the existing bridge on Richardsville Road (Route 4005). To detour, drivers will use Richardsville Road (Route 4005), East Main Street (Route 28), and Butler Cemetery Road.
PennDOT and BPC will continue to coordinate with local Emergency Management Services (EMS) and provide regular updates as the project progresses.
This project is part of the ongoing PennDOT Major Bridges P3 Program. Bridging Pennsylvania Developers – I (BPD-I).
