Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing northbound Freeport Road (Route 1001) under the New Kensington Bridge in East Deer Township, Allegheny County will close to traffic Thursday, April 17 weather permitting.
Northbound Freeport Road under the New Kensington Bridge will close to traffic from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday for bridge inspection work. Motorists on northbound Freeport Road will use the ramp to the New Kensington Bridge to continue northbound on Freeport Road. Traffic on southbound Freeport Road will not be impacted.
Crews from the Larson Design Group will conduct the bridge inspection work.
