Route 4019 Mt. Royal Boulevard Daylight Restrictions Continue Friday in Allegheny County

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing daylight roadway improvement work on Mt. Royal Boulevard (Route 4019) in Hampton and Shaler townships, Allegheny County will continue Friday, April 11 weather permitting.

Single-lane alternating traffic will occur between Route 8 and Grant Avenue weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through mid-November. Crews will conduct base repairs, milling and paving, concrete curb and gutter installation, and continue drainage improvement work. When paving operations begin, work may continue past 3 p.m. each day.

Flaggers will assist motorists through the work zone.

The prime contractor is A. Liberoni, Inc. on this $11.89 million group paving project. Improvement work includes milling and paving, drainage upgrades, shoulder repairs, guide rail updates, pavement markings, and other various construction related activities.
