Uniontown, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) invites the public to participate in a Virtual Plans Display for the Route 653 over Indian Creek Project located in Springfield Township, Fayette County.
The project will consist of a superstructure replacement to the existing Route 653 bridge over Indian Creek, located in Springfield Township, Fayette County. The existing substructure will get repairs to the areas of deteriorated and cracked concrete. Scour protection will be placed around both abutments and the pier. The existing structure will get paved over in 2023 to improve ride quality for the duration of the project.
The information on the Route 653 over Indian Creek Project including a short overview and an online comment form will be available online. The virtual plans display can be accessed on the PennDOT website beginning Wednesday, March 29, 2023, and will be available through Tuesday, April 25, 2023.
The page can be accessed by visiting the PennDOT District 12 website at www.PennDOT.pa.gov/District12, clicking on the Public Meetings link under the District Links heading, clicking on the Fayette County box, and selecting the Route 653 Bridge Project tile.
