Uniontown, PA—Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing an overnight single-lane restriction on Interstate 70 West in Rostraver Township, Westmoreland County, and Speers Borough, Washington County, scheduled for tonight (7:00 PM-5:00 AM).
The westbound restriction will run from Exit 43B (Route 201 to 837/Donora) to Exit 39 (Speers) and is anticipated during the same overnight hours until the morning of Friday, October 18. All work depends on weather and operations.
Crews from Armstrong Drilling Company are drilling geotechnical test borings for the I-70 Belle Vernon Bridge to Bentleyville project, which is currently in design.
Remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone's responsibility.
