Interstate 70 Nighttime Single-Lane Restriction Begins in Washington County

Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing a nighttime single-lane restriction on eastbound Interstate 70 in South Strabane Township, Washington County.

Nighttime restrictions from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM are anticipated from Monday, November 6 through Saturday, November 18, between southbound Interstate 79 on ramp onto eastbound Interstate 70 and Exit 19 (Route 19/Murtland Avenue) off ramp, depending on weather and operations.

Crews from Green Acres/Swank will be stabilizing concrete slabs in the center lane – an investment of $380,000.

Exercise caution during night work and while approaching the work zone. Remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone's responsibility.
