TRAFFIC ALERT: Interstate 79 Update in Washington County

Uniontown, PA—Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 advises motorists that southbound Interstate 79 is now open to a single-lane and northbound Interstate 79 remains closed between Exit 30 (Lone Pine/Amity) and Exit 33 (Laboratory) in Washington County.

It was previously closed in both directions due to a crash.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices by calling 5-1-1 or following regional X alerts
