Route 1071 Hypocrite Creek Road Closure to Begin Next Week in Westmoreland County

​Uniontown, PA – PennDOT District 12 would like to inform motorists of the closure on Route 1071 (Hypocrite Creek Road) between Route 1013 (Knupp Hill Road) and Route 1011 (Midget Camp Road) in Fairfield Township, Westmoreland County. Work will begin on Monday, April 17 and will continue until late June, weather and operational dependent.

The closure will be in place to allow crews to rehabilitate 3 bridges on Route 1071 (Hypocrite Creek Road). Work will include channel cleaning, scour countermeasures, masonry repointing, parapet rehabilitation and guiderail repair.

A posted detour will be in place utilizing Route 711 and Route 1071 (Hypocrite Creek Road).
