Route 18 Lane Restrictions Ongoing in Washington County

Uniontown, PA – PennDOT District 12 would like to inform motorists of ongoing daylight alternating single-lane restrictions on Route 18 from Hickory (Mount Pleasant Township) to the City of Washington, Washington County. The work will continue to take place Monday through Friday through late October, weather and operational dependent.

Daylight single-lane restrictions will be in place to allow crews to perform tree trimming, drainage work, and milling and paving. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers. Motorists should use caution traveling through work zones.

Crews from Eurovia Atlantic Coast, LLC will be performing the work.

This work is part of a $8.1 million project consisting of milling and resurfacing, concrete reconstruction at the Route 18 and Route 50 intersection, traffic signal replacement at the intersection with Route 4020 (Oak Grove Road) and North Hewitt Avenue as well as updating the drainage, guiderail, and signing & pavement markings. The project is anticipated to be complete in April of 2024.
