    Route 4033 Rea Road Closure Scheduled Next Week in Washington County

    ​Uniontown, PA – PennDOT District 12 would like to inform motorists of the closure of Route 4033 (Rea Road) between Parker Road and Sugar Camp Road in Cross Creek Township, Washington County. Work is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, July 19 and is anticipated to continue through late August, weather and operational dependent. 

    This closure will be in place to allow crews to perform slide repairs. 

    Posted Detours: 

    Northbound Route 4033 detour (Rea Road):

    • Make a right onto Route 4029 (Cross Creek Road)

    • Make a right onto Route 4031 (Atlasburg Road)

    • Make a right onto Route 4033 (Rea Road)

    Southbound Route 4033 detour (Rea Road):

    • Make a left onto Route 4031 (Atlasburg Road)

    • Make a left onto Route 4029 (Cross Creek Road)

    • Make a left onto Route 4033 (Rea Road)

    Crews from PennDOT District 12 will be performing the work. 

    Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 

    511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional Twitter alerts.
