Clearfield, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that additional survey work within the proposed study area of the State College Area Connector Project will start on Monday, March 17. PennDOT said these surveys will allow it to continue refining its engineering for the proposed alternatives and identify potential ways to mitigate impacts to resources within the proposed alternatives.
Survey crews will be working primarily within PennDOT’s right of way. They will not be impacting traffic nor accessing any private properties. Some businesses may see activity in their parking areas. PennDOT anticipates surveys taking approximately three weeks to complete.
