Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of single lane conditions next week on Route 522 in Penn Township, Snyder County, for bridge maintenance.
On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) bridge crew will perform bridge cleaning of the truss bridge over Penns Creek. Work includes cleaning the bridge deck, sidewalk, abutment bearings, and horizontal beam surfaces. A specialized crane will be used to perform cleaning of the abutment bearings.
Motorists can expect single lane conditions with flagging between Airport Road and Bridge Street in Penn Township, north of Selinsgrove. Work will be performed between the hours of 8:45 AM and 2:15 PM, weather permitting.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution through the work zone.
