Lane Restrictions Next Friday on Route 6 in Towanda Borough and Wysox Township, Bradford County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of alternating lane restriction next Friday on Route 6 (The Golden Mile) in Towanda Borough and Wysox Township, Bradford County, for road maintenance.

On Friday, April 11, 2025, between the hours of 12:00 AM and 8:00 AM (overnight hours between Thursday and Friday), a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be sweeping the Golden Mile on Route 6 between South Main Street (Route 2027) in Towanda Borough and Route 187 in Wysox Township. Motorists can expect alternating lane restrictions with flagging where work is performed.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, watch for lane changes, and drive with caution through the work zone. Work on this project is weather permitting.
