Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of a bridge maintenance project on Route 54 in Delaware Township, Northumberland County on Tuesday and Thursday next week.
On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be working on Route 54 under the Interstate 180 overpass and along the off ramps. Work will take place between the hours of 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, weather permitting.
On Thursday, May 1, 2025, the crew will be working at the same location between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather pending.
Motorists can expect single lane conditions while work is being performed. Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, watch for lane changes, and drive with caution through the work zone.
