Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of a daytime road closure next week on West Valley Road (Route 1025) in Standing Stone Township, Bradford County, for a pipe replacement project.
Beginning Tuesday, April 15, 2025, West Valley Road will be closed between Leons Road and Red Rock Road, while a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew replaces deteriorating pipes during daylight hours.
A detour using Route 6 and Keene Summit Road (Route 1023), will be in place while work is being performed. This pipe replacement project is expected to be completed on Friday, April 18, 2025, weather pending.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.
