Route 14 Bridge Replacement Project Set to Begin Next Week in Trout Run, Lycoming County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised a bridge replacement project is set to begin next week on Route 14 in Trout Run, Lycoming County. Severe flooding in August 2024 caused extensive damage to the Route 14 bridge that spanned Trout Run.

The week of Monday, April 28, 2025, the contractor, Rylind Construction Company, Inc., will begin road work during daylight hours. Work included mobilization of materials and equipment.

Motorists can expect construction vehicles entering and exiting the roadway where work is being performed. Temporary signals that were placed in the fall of 2024 will remain in place for the duration of the project.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays, watch for changing traffic patterns, and drive with caution in the area. Motorists should approach crossovers with caution in the work zone.
