1 PM Update: New closure points and detour listed below:
Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a portion of Route 225 is closed in both directions between Route 890 in Trevorton and Route 147 near Mandata, Northumberland County, due to a vehicle striking the truss bridge over Mahanoy Creek.
A detour using Route 147, Brush Valley Road (Route 4018) and Route 890 is in place. The bridge is expected to be closed for a long period of time; updates will be sent as information becomes available.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, and expect delays in travel.
