Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of lane restrictions next week on Interstate 80 in both directions in Hemlock, Mount Pleasant, Scott, South Centre, and Mifflin townships and the Town of Bloomsburg, Columbia County for bridge deck cleaning.
On Monday, April 14, 2025, and Tuesday, April 15, 2025, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be performing bridge cleaning along Interstate 80 between mile markers 228 at the Montour County line and 247 at the Luzerne County line. Motorists can expect alternating lane restrictions where work is being performed.
On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, and Thursday, April 17, 2025, crews will be performing bridge cleaning on the bridges carrying Interstate 80 over the North Branch Susquehanna River, located between Exit 241 (Lime Ridge / Route 11) and Exit 242 (Mifflinville / Route 339). Motorists can expect lane restrictions where work is being performed.
Work will be performed between the hours of 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM, weather permitting.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, watch for lane changes, and drive with caution through the work zone.
