Lane Restrictions and Closures on Route 315 in Luzerne County

Dunmore, PA – There will be lane restrictions and closures on Route 315 beginning Monday between 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily as follows:

  • Tuesday, April 1, 2025 - Right lane closure of Route 315 northbound between 84 Lumber and the Oak Street intersection.
  • Tuesday, April 1, 2025 - Left turn lane closure from SR 315 North to Oak Street.
  • Tuesday, April 1, 2025 - Exit 175 on Interstate 81 northbound will be closed. The detours are as follows:
    • Continue on Interstate 81 northbound to Exit 178.
    • Take Exit 178.
    • The detour will end at the roundabout.
  • Detour for the left turn lane to Oak Street:
    • Continue on SR 315 North for 2.5 miles to the airport roundabout.
    • At the roundabout, take the fourth exit onto SR 315 South.
    • Continue on SR 315 South for 2.5 miles.
    • The detour will end at the intersection of SR 315 South and Oak Street.
  • Wednesday, April 2, 2025 - Right lane closure of Route 315 northbound between the Oak Street intersection and the on-ramp to Interstate 81 Northbound.
  • Thursday, April 3, 2025 - Right lane of Route 315 southbound. During this time the right lane of Route 315 will be closed between Pilot Travel Center and the Oak Street intersection.
  • Friday, April 4, 2025 - Exit 175A on Interstate 81 southbound will be closed. The detour is as follows:
    • Continue on Interstate 81 southbound for 5.3 miles.
    • Take Exit 170B to merge onto PA Route 309 towards Wilkes-Barre.
    • Continue on PA Route 309 for .8 miles.
    • Take Exit 1 for PA Route 315.
    • The detour will end at the intersection for PA Route 315.
  • Friday, April 4, 2025 - Right lane of Route 315 southbound will be closed between Knights Inn and 84 Lumber.
