King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that Norristown Municipal Waste Authority will perform sewer repair on Markley Street (U.S. 202 North) in Norristown, Montgomery County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Wednesday, April 2, through Friday, April 4, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, Markley Street (U.S. 202 North) is scheduled to be closed and detoured at the intersection with Main Street. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Dekalb Pike (U.S. 202 North), Dekalb Street (U.S. 202 North), and Johnson Highway.
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Norristown Municipal Waste Authority will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
