PennDOT to Repair Potholes Next Week on More Than 100 State Highways in the Philadelphia Region

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PennDOT maintenance crews will be working on more than 100 state highways next week to repair deteriorated pavement in Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties.

The Philadelphia region experiences a high volume of potholes each season due to temperatures fluctuating between freezing and mild, known as a rapid freeze-thaw cycle.

PennDOT would like to remind motorists that potholes can be reported to PennDOT’s Customer Care Center by visiting www.customercare.penndot.pa.gov. To date, since January 1, 2025, District 6 has received over 2,900 customer concerns regarding potholes.

Motorists are advised of travel restrictions and possible slowdowns next week when driving near work crews patching potholes at the following locations:

Bucks County

  • U.S. 13, Falls Township.
  • Route 212, Richland and Springfield townships.
  • Allentown Road, Milford and Richland townships.
  • Bethlehem Pike, Milford and Springfield townships.
  • Delaware Road, Riegelsville Borough.
  • Oxford Valley Road, Middletown Township.

Drivers are reminded to slow down in the work zone and refrain from distracted driving to keep themselves and our workers safe.
