King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PennDOT maintenance crews will be working on more than 65 state highways next week to repair deteriorated pavement in Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties.
The Philadelphia region experiences a high volume of potholes each season due to temperatures fluctuating between freezing and mild, known as a rapid freeze-thaw cycle.
PennDOT would like to remind motorists that potholes can be reported to PennDOT’s Customer Care Center by visiting www.customercare.penndot.pa.gov. To date, since January 1, 2025, District 6 has received over 2,500 customer concerns regarding potholes.
Motorists are advised of travel restrictions and possible slowdowns next week when driving near work crews patching potholes at the following locations:
Bucks County
- Route 212, Richland and Springfield townships.
- Paletown Road, Richland Township.
- Rockhill Road, Richland Township.
- Park Avenue, Perkasie Borough.
- Delaware Red, Riegelsville Borough.
- Richlandtown Pike, Springfield and Richland townships.
