King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that milling and paving operations are planned on several state highways in Chester, Delaware, and Bucks counties.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Sunday, April 13, through Thursday, April 17, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 291 (4th Street/Industrial Highway/Governor Printz Boulevard) between Harrah’s Boulevard and Bartram Avenue in the City of Chester, Eddystone Borough, and Tinicum Township, Delaware County.
- Monday, April 14, from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Tunnel Road will be closed and detoured between Route 563 (Ridge Road) and Harriet Drive in East Rockhill Township and Perkasie Borough, Bucks County. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 563 (Ridge Road), Park Avenue, Three Mile Run Road, and Tunnel Road. Local access will be maintained.
- Monday, April 14, and Tuesday, April 15, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Waterloo Avenue will be closed and detoured at the intersection with U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) in Easttown Township, Chester County. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue), Midland Avenue, and Berwyn Avenue. Local access will be maintained.
- Monday, April 14, through Friday, April 18, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Clay Creek Road/Northbank Road between Church Hill Road and Chesterville Road in Franklin and London Britain townships, Chester County.
- Monday, April 14, through Friday, April 18, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on North Creek Road between Glenloch Drive and Chesterville Road in Franklin Township, Chester County.
- Monday, April 14, through Friday, April 18, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Old Kennett Road/Old Kennett Pike between Kaolin Road and the Delaware state line in Kennett Township, Chester County.
- Monday, April 14, through Friday, April 18, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Broad Run Road between Good Hope Road and Newark Road in London Britain and New Garden townships, Chester County.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near or through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
