Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that roadway construction continues on Route 611 (Broad Street) in Philadelphia under a local safety improvement project.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, March 17, through Friday, April 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday periodic lane closure is scheduled on southbound Route 611 (Broad Street) between Pattison Avenue and League Island Boulevard for traffic signal installation.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
