    Utility Construction Continues Next Week on Route 73 (Church Road) in Cheltenham Township

    King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that utility construction will continue next week on Route 73 (Church Road) under a $10.8 million project to improve traffic flow and safety on Route 73 (Church Road) at Greenwood Avenue and Rices Mill Road intersections in Cheltenham Township, Montgomery County.

    Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

    Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

    Motorists can check conditions on major roadways including color-coded winter conditions, by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
