Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that utility construction will close Milnor Street in Northeast Philadelphia, beginning Monday night, March 3.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, March 3, and Wednesday, March 5, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, Milnor Street will be closed and detoured between Cottman Avenue and Bleigh Avenue for sewer repair.
During the closure, northbound motorists will be directed to use Longshore Avenue, State Road, and Bleigh Avenue. Southbound motorists will be directed to use Bleigh Avenue, State Road, and New State Road.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
