Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today the Interstate 83 viaduct bridge spanning Norfolk Southern railroad tracks at Exit 43 in Dauphin County is scheduled to be inspected next week.
Weather permitting, this work will be performed from 10:00 PM to 4:00 AM the nights of Thursday, May 1, and Friday, May 2.
The inspection will be performed using an underbridge crane. A right shoulder restriction will be in place Thursday night on the ramp from Front Street to northbound I-83. A right shoulder restriction will be in place Friday night on the southbound I-83 ramp to 2nd Street.
Motorists should be alert and drive with caution through the work zone.
