Bridge spanning East Branch of Codorus Creek at Lake Redman to be closed Monday, April 7
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the Hess Farm Road (Route 2068) bridge spanning the East Branch of Codorus Creek at Lake Redman between Springfield and York townships, York County, is scheduled to be closed Monday, April 7, for a rehabilitation project. The closure previously was planned for Monday, March 31.
Weather permitting, the bridge will be closed Monday, April 7, for up to 90 days so a contractor can perform milling, deck repairs, overlay, joint repairs and approach work.
Hess Farm Road will be closed between Sparton Road and Lake Road. A detour will be in place using Iron Stonehill Road (Route 2087), Leader Heights Road (Route 182) and Route 3001 (George Street/Susquehanna Trail/ Main Street).
An updated press release will be issued when the bridge opens.
