Short-term closures planned
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that an inspection is planned for Exit 66 ramps at the Interstate 81 (George N. Wade Memorial) Bridge in Susquehanna Township, Dauphin County. The northbound I-81 ramp to North Front Street, and the southbound Front Street ramp to southbound I-81 will be inspected.
Weather permitting, this work will be performed from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Friday, February 7. There will be alternating closures of up to two hours each so an underbridge inspection crane can be used to inspect the ramps. The closures will not occur at the same time.
Travelers are advised to seek alternate routes.
Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews.
