Lane Restrictions on Route 219 in Cambria Township, Cambria County, Begin April 16 for Route 3034 (Beulah Road) and the Ghost Town Trail Bridge Preservation Project

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is advising motorists of lane restrictions on Route 219 in Cambria Township, Cambria County, from Route 22 to Route 422 for bridge repairs beginning on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.

The northbound lane of Route 219 will be restricted to one lane from Route 22 to Route 422, and temporary daylight traffic controls will be used on the southbound lane of Route 219, Route 3034 (Beulah Road) and the Ghost Town Trail, from April 16 to August 2025.

Gulisek Construction, LLC., Mount Pleasant, Pa., is the lead contractor for the 2.9-mile, $1,185,610 bridge preservation project, which will include concrete deck repairs, beam spall repairs, resealing of bridge joints, approach slab replacement, minor roadway paving, drainage upgrades, and guide rail upgrades. The project is expected to be completed by September 2025.

As always, PennDOT stresses extra caution in all work zones. Motorists should drive slowly, eliminate all distractions, and stay alert for direction from advanced signage and flaggers.
