Mill and Fill Operations on Route 3033 and Route 3009 in Huntingdon County, to Begin April 2

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is informing motorists of mill and fill work on Route 3033 and Route 3009 in Huntingdon County beginning on Monday, April 21, 2025.

Traffic will be controlled under standard daylight flagging operations on Route 3033 from Seven Points Road to Crooked Creek Road, and on Route 3009 (Parks Orchard Road) in Huntingdon County for mill and fill operations, a pavement repair method where the top layer of asphalt is removed by a milling machine, and then a new layer of asphalt is placed to resurface the road.

As always, PennDOT stresses extra caution in all work zones. Motorists should drive slowly, eliminate all distractions, and stay alert for direction from advanced signage and flaggers.
