Lurgan Road Bridge over Branch of Pidcock Creek Culvert Replacement

Project Location

Overview

The existing bridge is a 16’ long single-span concrete encased steel I-beam bridge constructed in 1910.  The bridge carries Lurgan Road (Route 2101) over a branch of Pidcock Creek in Upper Makefield Township, Bucks County.  The structure is in overall poor condition.

The project involves the replacement of the existing structure with a single-span concrete box culvert.

The project also includes the replacement of the guide rail, signing, and pavement markings.

All traffic will be detoured during construction.
