PUBLIC SCHOOL EMPLOYEES’ RETIREMENT SYSTEM (PSERS)

Introducing the New Member Self-Service Portal

We are pleased to announce that the pension plan’s new Member Self-Service (MSS) Portal is now available at psers.pa.gov. With this launch, the Interaction site has been shut down and replaced by the MSS Portal. So, members must register on the MSS Portal to manage their pension plan account information. Registration is quick and easy.

Get Started: Register on the MSS Portal and be Entered to Win an iPad!

To register and create an account on the new MSS Portal, members will need their PSERS ID and a valid email address. Members who do not know their PSERS ID can find it on a personalized PSERS mailing, or they can call the service center at 1.888.773.7748 to request that it be mailed to them.

Use the Quick Start Guide for detailed step-by-step registration instructions.

Register to win! Members who register by July 31, 2018, will be entered into a drawing to win an iPad.

A Preview of the MSS Portal

The new MSS Portal allows members to self-manage a wider range of account-related transactions online than what was possible with the Interaction system. With members able to do more on their own (and do it more quickly and easily) through the MSS Portal, PSERS staff will have more time to dedicate to providing value-added member-service!

Once registered on the MSS Portal, members will have instant access to their pension account information. Here’s a preview of what members can see and do:

  • Update and add/remove beneficiaries.
  • Calculate tax withholding amount and estimate retirement benefit.
  •  Elect Class T-F and/or Multiple Service, if eligible.
  • View documents including Statement of Accounts, PSERS staff-prepared estimates, 1099Rs, income verifications, and more.

Members will receive more information about the MSS Portal in the coming months.
