Services Provided By the Bureau Of Publications
The Bureau of Publications Sign Shop provides a full range of signage services. Some of our updated engraving and large format print services/products include: nameplates, ADA compliant signs, wayfinding signage, window frosting, vinyl lettering, banners, retractable banners, vehicle graphics, and printing on a wide variety of substrates. Whether your agency needs a single item or thousands, no job is too big or small. If you have questions about your project, email our Resource Account. The Bureau's graphic designers and forms layout specialists can create professional and innovative designs for documents, banners, displays, websites and promotional campaigns. Design services may be requested using the Document Design & Layout Request Form or by consulting with design staff at (717) 704-1060.
The Bureau of Publications provides prompt, cost-effective and quality printing services, using both high-end digital and offset printing and is the official provider of the Commonwealth’s business cards and stationery. The print shop is capable of delivering high-volume, on-demand and variable data print services with short turnaround times. The print shop also offers a wide range of bindery and post-print processing services. Print requests can be made using the Print & Mail Request Form.
The Pennsylvania Manual
The Pennsylvania Manual is a comprehensive guide to Pennsylvania's state and local government. For more than 200 years, the Commonwealth has provided this information for the benefit of Pennsylvanians and serves as a valuable reference tool for schools, libraries, and the general public. The Manual is published biennially and includes Pennsylvania history, the Constitution and information regarding elections, municipalities and local and state officeholders. The Manual also profiles the powers, functions, and duties of the Executive, Judicial and Legislative branches of Commonwealth government.
Copies of The Pennsylvania Manual may be ordered through the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission's online bookstore at www.ShopPAheritage.com. Copies may also be purchased from the State Museum Store which is open.
