No refunds/cancellations will be accepted for this promotion.  Substitutions will be allowed.

Continuing Education Credits​

  • Act 48 credits can be earned by attending any keynote or breakout session, getting the corresponding sticker on your Act 48 card, and submitting the Act 48 handout at the Information Desk prior to leaving the 2025 PDE Data Summit.
  • Act 45/PIL course hours can be earned by completing the following steps: PDE approved to provide Act 45/PIL hours – 10-25 PIL hours
    • By completing both the on-site Data Summit and post-Data Summit requirements (in the Schoology course), administrators can choose their own pathway to earn hours between the range of 10 hours through 25 hours.
    • Administrators must be registered and paid as an Act 45/PIL course participant.
    • After checking in at the conference registration desk, Act 45 participants should pick up the Act 45/PIL course packet at the Information Desk.
    • Act 45 participants must accrue at least 4 Act 45/PIL sessions but can accrue up to 13 hours (comprised of the presentations mentioned in the below bullets) at the Data Summit, to continue with the course.
      • For the required minimum 4 Act 45/PIL hours, participants must attend the mandatory onboarding session (1) as well as keynotes and/or designated breakout sessions (3).
        • These designated sessions are identified as Act 45/PIL in the agenda which is included in the event program and packet.
      • To receive the maximum of 13 on-site Act 45/PIL hours, participants would need to attend an additional 9 sessions and/or keynotes (whether they are Act 45/PIL designated or not).
        • Attendees may opt to accrue between 4-13 on-site Act 45/PIL hours by choosing to attend fewer sessions (refer to the above).
      • Act 45 participants must attend the sessions in their entirety to receive the session labels (60-minute session = 1 session label). At the end of the session, Act 45 participants will need to add the corresponding session label to their Act 45/PIL cards.
    • Additional instructions will be provided during the mandatory session on the method of submitting the completed/accrued session hours shown on the Data Summit Act 45/PIL session label card.
    • After the 2025 PDE Data Summit, Act 45 participants must complete the additional minimum 6 PIL hours of job-embedded assignments identified in the syllabus but will have the option of earning even more hours if so desired (up to 12). This will be further discussed during the mandatory onboarding session on Monday.
    • Upon completing the course, Act 45 participants will receive the earned PIL hours. This course will be due by (TBD). 

              ADA Special Needs Accommodations

              Participation by all individuals is encouraged. Advance notice of any special needs will help us provide better service. Please notify us of your needs at least two weeks in advance of the conference by contacting the PDE Data Summit Team via email at ra-edpdedatasummit@pa.gov.  ​

              Attendee Cancellation and Refund Policy

              Refunds (minus a $25 administrative/processing fee will be granted to individual registrants who cancel by email at RA-EDPDEDATASUMMIT@pa.gov at least 20 business days prior to the event. Cancellation notices must be received by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21st, 2025, to receive a refund.  Refunds will not be granted to registrants utilizing the Buy 3 Get 1 Free promotion (substitutions only).

              Refunds will not be provided to registrants who neither cancel nor attend the event. Confirmed registrants who are unable to attend the event may send a substitute in their place at no additional cost. Substitution information must be received by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (RA-EDPDEDATASUMMIT@pa.gov) two full business days (Wednesday, March 19th, 2025) before the start of the event.
