The Office of Administration manages, develops, and coordinates the Commission’s Administration; Boating; Outreach, Education, and Marketing; Human Resources; and Information Technology programs.

Bureau of Administration (717-705-7900)

The Bureau of Administration provides administrative support services for all Commission operations and programs. Responsibilities include oversight and management of the Commission’s boat registration and titling program, the sale and accounting of fishing licenses and permits, and agency-wide operations for budgeting, fiscal management, federal grant administration, procurement and more. Bureau of Boating (717-705-7851)

The Bureau of Boating serves as the Commonwealth’s Boating Law Administrator, as liaison with federal and state boating law agencies and officials, develops and directs laws and regulations that enhance the safety and recreational enjoyment of the Commonwealth's boaters like statewide water rescue training programs, and the Boating Safety Education Certificate program. Human Resources Office (717-705-7820)

The Human Resources office advises the Commission on human resource policy and procedures, oversees and advises recruitment, placement and classification programs, ensures that equal opportunity and employee programs are appropriately administered and communicated, directs the Commission’s labor relations program and maintains employee records. 

Bureau of Information Technology (717-705-7874)

The Bureau of Information Technology provides leadership, governance, and business-driven information systems and technologies, directs and manages the Commissions's information technology infrastructure, and operates, maintains and supports all Commission computing platforms and ensures compliance with Commonwealth policies and standards, where appropriate .

Bureau of Outreach, Education and Marketing (717-705-7833)

The Bureau of Outreach, Education and Marketing directs the Commission’s public information and outreach efforts to include oversight of agency website content and social media presence, marketing efforts, the Pennsylvania Angler & Boater magazine and other agency publications and administers the statewide public education and recreational program.
