JNET Governance

JNET is a groundbreaking example of how agencies from different government levels and branches collaborate to share information and achieve common goals. Building strong relationships and fostering collaboration are key to JNET’s success.

JNET provides a platform for participating agencies to collaborate and exchange ideas. The JNET steering committee, made up of representatives appointed by the heads of each participating agency, plays a crucial role. Committee members influence the strategic direction of JNET, determine the data shared, and address policy and technical issues impacting their organizations and the integrated justice system.

These committee members also lead and staff the JNET Agency Advisory Subcommittee, acting as advocates for JNET within their respective agencies. Through their collaboration, commitment, cooperation, and dedication, JNET has evolved into one of the most successful integrated justice models in the nation.
