JNET Success Stories
Victim Advocates can leverage more services for their clients
"By providing a platform to enter essential information, JNET provided a bridge to facilitate the transfer of victim information amid county and state services to promote victim services."
Southern Regional Police Department Praise JNET
“JNET is a critical tool in investigations. I solve crimes daily with the use of JNET and the information obtained through it from neighboring states like Maryland. Most recently the use of JNET helped to identify a suspect involved in the “Grandparent Scam” scamming hundreds of thousands of dollars from elderly people all over Pennsylvania and parts of New Jersey.”
Crime Victims benefit from JNET
“As a victim service professional, I have used JNET to locate and notify victims across the state of Pennsylvania. More than sending letters, there is a good chance some of those notifications have saved lives. I can say that I use it every day to help keep victims safe.”

This will allow continued investigation in this case. So, thanks again for this. I will be using this search quite frequently. I just wanted to let you know how helpful this will be.
PennDOT Search Application aids in fugitive capture
A PSP Trooper, from the Fugitive Apprehension Unit, was tracking a suspect wanted for rape. He located the suspect’s car and kept it under surveillance but did not have a photo of the suspect. A photo of the suspect was located using the PennDOT Driver License search application in JNET which searches the PennDOT Driver’s License Photo Database. As a result, the Trooper was able to immediately identify the suspect and take him into custody. According to the officer, he needed a photo fast and JNET was able to deliver. The Fugitive Apprehension Unit uses JNET on a frequent basis to aid in the apprehension of fugitives
