Training and Exercises

We provide public education, professional development training, exercises, and certifications for volunteers and professionals across Pennsylvania.

Overview

We are not an accredited academic institution. However, some of our courses involve college-level curriculum. Once completed, you can apply to your respective college for credit consideration.

Continuing Education Credits

Certain courses and activities might be eligible for in-service or continuing education credit from such agencies/organizations as:

  • Pennsylvania Department of Health
  • Pennsylvania Department of Education
  • Pennsylvania Coroner’s Association
  • Pennsylvania Funeral Directors
  • Indiana University of Pennsylvania

Getting Course Credit

Students are required to attend all sessions of a course. Credit for course completion will not be granted if more than 10 percent of the program is missed.

If you have been accepted for a course and are unable to attend, your organization can request a substitution. This request must be made in writing.
