Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Engineering District 12-0, along with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), invites the community to review the virtual plans display of the Westmoreland County Local Bridge Preservation project.
This project will provide preservative maintenance, to correct structural deficiencies to primary bridge elements on four superstructures around Westmoreland County. These repairs provide the most cost-effective solution to extend the useful lives of the bridges and maintain vital connections for residents, businesses, municipal services, and emergency access. It will reduce potential replacement costs for the county, allowing it to reallocate valuable economic resources.
